In the eastern region of Pennsylvania, the Temple University Center for Professional Development in Career & Technical Education provides Career & Technical Education teacher certification services to Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers. All prospective CTE teachers must obtain a state-issued Career & Technical Education teaching certificate. The Temple Center prepares individuals transitioning from business and industry to teach occupations such as auto mechanics, carpentry, health occupations, film and video production, cosmetology, culinary arts, web design and much more.
