Certification Office
The Certification Office in the College of Education and Human Development provides assistance and support for current and former Temple students seeking one or more approved PA Educator certifications through the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE).
Computing & Learning Labs
The Education Computing Center on the 3rd floor is just one of the spaces throughout the College of Education and Human Development where students can come to study, explore, collaborate and learn.

Undergraduate Student Advising
Undergraduate advisors and academic advising is available in the Shimada Resource Center located on the first floor of Ritter Annex (RA 150). The office of Undergraduate Student Affairs serves as a resource to you throughout your undergraduate program as you prepare yourself for an important career in education. We see our relationship with our students as a partnership and look forward to collaborating with you to help you reach your academic goals.
Office of Field Placement and Professional Experiences
The Office of Field Placement (OFP) and Professional Experiences in the College of Education and Human Development assists students and faculty in coordinating early field experiences, practicum, and student teaching placements for all students in the teacher education program. The OFP works to ensure students participate in a coherent sequence of varied experiences that will support their preparation as future educators.
Ombudsperson
The Ombudsperson's role is to mediate disputes arising over an academic issue within the College and to make the parties aware of the various policies that have bearing on the case. The goal is to bring the dispute to a quick resolution.
Technology Support
The Office of Information & Instructional Technology in the College of Education and Human Development supports faculty, staff, and students with technology hardware and software used for research, teaching, and learning. You can receive priority service by requesting help online using TUhelp (http://tuhelp.temple.edu). The Help Desk should be considered your primary, central contact for requesting assistance.
