+1 Accelerated Master's (Dual-Degree) Programs in Career and Technical Education
Temple's +1 Accelerated Programs in Career and Technical Education provide acadmically qualified students a dual-degree option with a bachelor's degree in their intended undergraduate major and a Master’s Degree in Career and Technical Education - graduating sooner than they would have completing two distinct programs. Generally, students complete the degree requirements for the master's program with one additional year of study.
The Master's degree program in Career and Technical Education prepares students to gain credentials to teach in Pennsylvania’s public K–12 schools. The master's program meets the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s program requirements for Teacher Certification in Marketing (Distributive) Education or Business, Computer, and Information Technology (BCIT) for grades PreK-12.
